To my Dearest Swog:
Grace be unto you and peace from God our father and from the Lord Jesus Christ
It is with warmth, sincerity and heartfelt love that I write to you today. It is because of your love for Christ and His undeniable love for you, that you all have been endowed with a precious gift, which you have used to his glory and which has made so great an impact on all who have been graced by this ministry.
It was October 20, 2007 when I first witnessed a powerful move of God: A Devine appointment: A spiritual awakening.
Ten women, anointed and hand picked by God, ministered to the hearts and souls of some broken, some disenfranchised and disenchanted, some discouraged and some just beat down victims of domestic violence who believed that there past and present condition was a blueprint for their future.
You made a chose to pour from your hearts the love of God through sacred harmonic and melodic movements there-by helping to begin a period of positive affirmation for the purpose of reformation for hurting women, men and children.
I witnessed the lifting and mending of broken spirits by the ministry of The Samaritan Women of God for which I will be forever grateful.
I am reminded of a sermon I once heard about the relevance of a small seed. Because you are saved, God has deposited in you a seed. The seed is the seed of the Gospel and all its potential, the Devine nature that is the nature of God in seed form. Inside this seed is all of your spiritual potential. Visualize for a moment you plant a corn seed and in that, is all the potential for a great stalk with lots of ears. Or perhaps an acorn is planted and within that small acorn is the potential for a huge Oak! That first public ministering was the seed
While the seed has the potential, it must be worked in order for the seed to become what its potential says that it is!
While you work out with your bodies, you must always work out the spiritual. Read His Word daily, pray regularly and seek Him continually with your whole heart. “Work out your own salvation. It aint easy but it is worth it.
While you Dance for Life, keep in mind there is so much more in you that you cannot see right now! There will be many more doors that open, opportunities coming from different directions: Be discerning in whom you minister to. You want to always be led of the spirit. God will allow you to see with your spiritual eyes that which you cannot see right now with the physical but in order to be able to do this your spirit must be in tune with your ABBA father.
Please know that when I think about SWOG I thank God for what he is doing in the lives of you all. I knew when the Holy Spirit spoke to me not so long ago about ministering in dance that it would be another awesome move of God but never did I think it would be the birth of a flourishing ministry: A ministry consisting of beautiful women, both young and older. Beautiful women who are on fire for the Lord and for the spreading of the Gospel. Ministers in there own right.
As The Lord continues to use you, please always remember and never forget the testimony of Christ has already been confirmed in you and he shall confirm you to the end.
As you venture out this week to Ocean City MD, may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost be with you all. Amen
PS I love you all.
